I Published a Book (And So Can You!)

December 26, 2011 By Ben

I wrote a book! Turns out I don’t give advice that I don’t take. When I said you should self-publish a book, I meant it. I still mean it.

In the last year I became obsessed with self-publishing. It’s likely due to reading Seth Godin, Kevin Kelly, and James Altucher on a regular basis. When you read people who talk about self-publishing, it’s hard to resist the urge to do it yourself.

So I published a book.

I have a hundred thoughts on the process of writing a book, formatting, outsourcing, and the entire publishing industry.

The rest of this weeks blog posts will be spent looking at self-publishing and the book publishing industry.

About the book:

It’s nothing like this blog. It won’t make you smarter. It won’t solve your problems. You won’t get rich reading it. But it’s funny. If you want to laugh, it’d be worth your time to click the image below. Oh, and for less than half the price someone like Simon & Schuster would charge.
