“But I’m Doing the Best I Can…”

October 11, 2011 By Ben

…is a phrase no one will ever be empathetic to.

The excuse of “doing the best you can” doesn’t mean much if someone else can do what you’re doing, but better.

We want to work with and for people who are the best in the world at what they do, not just people who “do the best they can.”

No one cares if you’re making the second best product, but trying the best you can. We want what we consider to be the best.

If you aren’t the best in the world, consider making a smaller or different world.
